Your research shows detailed articulate reflection and excellent knowledge of genre conventions, which you have applied in your own work. Early drafts of your poster reflected the need to consider proportions in the layout and the placement of text.
Your intriguing centre of visual interest, nightmarish colours and scary font choices signal the film's genre. Other genre codes and conventions are securely met. You have created an arresting poster and have also creatively demonstrate how it could be used in the street
MINOR TASK: FILM POSTER
ReplyDeleteThis is a very successful product as it is striking, polished and technically very assured. The centre of visual interest arrests the eye with its bold arresting image, lit intriguingly with no small measure of menace, in blue light. The staring creature has elements of the grotesque and is properly frightening, as it is intended to be. The layout of the poster is harmoniously achieved, directing the eye to key information. All institutional aspects are covered such as the billing block, talent and production company. All genre conventions are handled smoothly.
